At some point people are going to just accept the fact that the Eee PC is a full fledge, if low-powered PC, and is therefore capable of running any operating system or software that you can run on a larger computer. But until we get there, every time someone comes along and shows off something that looks really cool on a 7-inch screen, I can't help but ooh and ahh.

And so now I'm tempted to install Kubuntu on a USB stick just so I can look at the pretty desktop effects that come with KDE4. In the meantime, check out the nifty video above made by Trolltech employee Jesper Thomschütz. Ooh. Ahh.

KDE4 won't officially be released until early next year, but a second release candidate was pushed out this week.
